Today’s cover photo has nothing to do with anything, but I (once again) didn’t take any pics this week. This was my favorite fall outfit/photo from last year so I figured I’d share it again to get myself in the mood! It’s still been pretty hot here in Denver, but I’ve felt that chill in the air a couple of nights now… making me get a teensy bit excited for the new season.

Monday, September 2

Just a casual Labor Day spent around the apartment. I’ve never been much of a hat person, but my boyfriend got me this dusty rose hat for golf and I love it. It’s such a cute color. I decided to try styling it today in a “real” outfit, and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

Tuesday, September 3

I know this outfit looks like pajamas, but I promise it’s real clothes! Perfect for a work-from-home day without any client meetings. In the evening my apartment was hosting a wine social—turned out just to be a way for vendors to promote their products, but the wine was good at least.

Wednesday, September 4

I wore a very similar outfit to this one (same dress, same denim jacket, different scarf and shoes) in New York City in 2018, and whenever I see the pics, I think the outfit looks so cute. But for some reason whenever I try to recreate it, it just doesn’t hit the same… Don’t get me wrong, I like today’s outfit—I just don’t love it as much as that original look from six years ago.

Today was the first time we really had fall-like weather and I wasted it with this boring outfit. I don’t know, I just haven’t been feeling very inspired lately!

Friday, September 6

After such a lackluster look yesterday, I told myself I really had to put together a good outfit for date night tonight. I can’t remember if I’ve shared this look in a Reel already, but I know I haven’t worn it out yet, even though I’ve been thinking about it for weeks… It turned out just as cute as I had hoped once I finally put it on. I love the navy and salmon colors together and think it would even go with my Panama hat for a day at a farmers market or something.

Saturday, September 7

I know this outfit is very summery, but it’s still so hot out that I figured, who cares. The top is the only thing I ever bought from my university’s bookstore, if you can believe it—and that’s just because I had a gift card. The sweatshirts and tees are always ridiculously expensive! Plus, I like that I can wear this as a normal top rather than just representing the University of Denver—its one identifier, a small embroidered “Denver” in the bottom right corner, is subtle enough that most people wouldn’t even know it’s university swag.

It’s officially that time of year where my boyfriend is occupied all of Sunday watching football… which I actually don’t mind because it gives me guilt-free time to work on my blog!
