I didn’t share OOTDs on Instagram this week because I’ve been bunking at my aunt’s house, taking care of her adorable goldendoodle since Monday. I managed to sneak away for an evening though to attend a 1940s ball in Boulder—can’t wait to share more about that in an upcoming blog post!

I spent the morning running a couple of errands and quickly packing my bag for the week (with very simple outfits, I might add) before heading to my aunt’s house for a work-from-home day. I didn’t have any client meetings so I kept things very casual—it was a busy start to the week and I just wanted to be comfortable! I do think this base outfit could be spiced up a lot with the right accessories, like some sort of straw hat.

Forgive the wrinkles in this dress—I promise I fixed that before wearing it, I just had to shove it back into my suitcase to take home for these OOTD photos, which is why it looks such a mess. I love throwing this simple dress on for a hot summer day. After work, I made my way to a nearby mall to try on some new shorts for the summer. I only found denim pairs, but I’m excited to have a more comfortable length in my closet!

Another simple one-piece outfit, like pretty much all of my looks this week. I received this jumpsuit last summer from Clara Sunwoo and haven’t worn it nearly enough yet! I love the comfy, breathable fabric, perfect for a day at the office.

This dress will forever be remembered as the dress I wore on my first day of my first big girl job. I’m not sure I’ve worn these blue flats with it before, but I like how the combo turned out.

I’m obsessed with this workout dress and want to buy it in more colors! The red is very bold, so I think I would get a more subdued shade if I do order another. I didn’t have any client meetings again today and just worked from home, so I figured I’d wear something athletic instead of changing when it was time to take the dog for a walk. I was thinking this might even be cute for a vacation on one of those days where you’re walking all over a city—but I don’t know, is it weird to wear something athletic for that? The dress is just so cute, and I want more reasons to wear it.

I dropped off the doggo (I know, a dog sitter for the dog sitter) so I could go back to my apartment and get ready for the 1940s ball! For once I started getting ready hours in advance, and it made for such a stress-free experience. My boyfriend and I had a great time swing dancing the night away, and I’ll be sharing more photos in a blog post and Reel soon. This dress was a hand-me-down from my cousin, and I actually wore it to my high school graduation! So fun to break it out again.

I was so exhausted from the ball yesterday that I didn’t end up getting dressed or really doing anything today! I did finish the latest season of “Bridgerton” though. Have you seen it yet? What did you think? I think this season was just okay—definitely my least favorite.

Which of this week’s simple summer looks do you like the best? As always, thanks for stopping by the blog today.
Miles of smiles,
Grace
