I tried really hard to create all my content for the upcoming week today and yesterday, but I didn’t manage to get it all done… So it will be a couple weeks yet until I can settle into my new blogging routine. I’m hoping as I start to post more Reels and TikToks they’ll also become quicker to make—but we’ll see!

Monday, January 29
It was such a beautiful day (well, week, for the most part) that I broke away from work a little early to go on a long walk around the neighborhood. This has become one of my go-to outfits for working from home because while it’s professional looking, it still feels like pajamas.

Tuesday, January 30
It was the type of day where I had so much to do I didn’t even have time to make a to-do list (which makes it hard to write my weekly recap—when I sit down every Sunday to write this post, I always look back at my planner to jog my memory, but today’s was completely blank). I haven’t worn this old-fashioned dress in a while, even though it’s one of my favorites, so I decided to break it out today. I only wish my hair was a little less shabby to match the pretty dress.

These pants used to be too big, and now they fit perfectly—which is kind of exciting because they’re so cute! I really like them paired with this light blue sweater, and I added a reindeer collar clip, styled as a brooch, for a little sparkle. I’m still not convinced of the beige heels, though. Maybe just black would be better next time.
My boyfriend got an offer for a new job today so we celebrated at our usual Wednesday night trivia (and all stayed out a little too late for a weeknight).

Thursday, February 1
It’s actually been hot in the office this week—I don’t think I’ve ever said those words—so I opted for a sleeveless top for once, the same one I wore on Monday. Most of my work blouses are sleeveless, actually, but not all of them pair well with blazers or cardigans. It was refreshing to wear this one plain with my houndstooth pants, and I like the ensemble completed with my black Rothy’s.

Friday, February 2
After work, my boyfriend and I met up with a group of friends at our favorite nearby karaoke spot to celebrate the BF’s new job. I was so excited to wear this maroon mesh top, but after trying it on and wearing it around the house a bit, I decided it just wasn’t going to work… I’ve gained some weight in certain areas and I was dangerously close to a nip slip—no bueno on any day but especially not good when you’re going to be singing in front of a crowd.
I was disappointed but opted for this ribbed grey crop top instead, which I think looked very cute with my mom jeans and thrifted snakeskin booties for a monochrome look. As you can see from the collage cover photo of this week’s post, I really committed on stage—ha!

Saturday, February 3
We usually go to karaoke on Saturday nights, so it was a very welcome surprise to wake up this morning and realize it wasn’t Sunday yet. It snowed pretty hard all day (even though it was beautiful and 60 on Monday) so I just stayed home, working on various blog tasks.

Sunday, February 4
It was another busy blogging day, making a couple of Reels and getting out of the house just to take some photos. I don’t usually put on a real outfit on content creation days because I change so many times while filming.
. . . . .
Not a very colorful week of outfits but I hope you found some inspiration nonetheless. Thanks for stopping by today!
Miles of smiles,
Grace
