Aside from regular Wednesday night trivia, I haven’t had any plans the whole year so far—and it’s felt amazing. The only downside is that no plans = no photos, so I don’t have any cover pic from the week to share! Instead, I am just reposting a Palm Springs photo… It’s been so unusually cold in Denver this weekend that I’m dreaming of someplace sunny and warm instead.

Monday, January 8

I realllly didn’t want to get out of my pjs this morning so the next best thing was a cozy sweater and my insanely comfy new jogger trousers from Clara Sunwoo. Basically pajamas, but work appropriate! I added my red Rothy’s for a pop of color. With the pants and shoes, this is a pretty expensive outfit, but that just means I have to focus on wearing these new pants and my flats more to bring the cost per wear down.

Tuesday, January 9

Today’s outfit isn’t anything special, but my top priority was staying warm—so I opted for a vest and tall boots. I have a hard time feeling inspired to get dressed in the wintertime. I feel like all my outfits are just “bleh”. In college I would have at least thrown on a cute beanie with this look, but it doesn’t feel appropriate to wear a hat to work. I guess I need to get more creative with scarves? I don’t know what else could spice this outfit up.

Wednesday, January 10

Another chilly day, but at least this outfit has a little pop of color. I love the beige and olive green together. After a long, stressful day in the office I unwound a bit at our usual Wednesday night trivia. We were in first place most of the night but missed the final question, where you can wager up to 15 points, and ended up in fourth (only the top three teams win prizes).

Thursday, January 11

I’ve had these plaid pants forever but rarely wear them because I never know how to style them (black seems too dark for the already dark pants). I was so excited when I realized this beige turtleneck from Clara Sunwoo would pair so well with them. I had actually planned on wearing this outfit in Palm Springs for Christmas, paired with these bow heels, but we never ended up leaving the house! I just love the sweater with these pants, even if the holiday season is already over.

Friday, January 12

I started my day with a very amusing dentist appointment (he told me I “have the wrong shaped face” and could get Botox to fix it) before having a calmer work-from-home day. I had no plans to leave the house aside from the dentist and grocery store, so I just threw on this casual sweatshirt and jeans.

The high was only -1 today or something crazy like that! Aside from going to the gym, I had a very relaxing day at home, taking a bath, writing down some goals for the new year, and finishing up my 2023 Year in Review. Cozy PJs all the way!

Sunday, January 14

I figured I should at least get dressed today, even though I didn’t go anywhere again (a high of 10—my phone was very excited to tell me “13 degrees higher than yesterday!” as if 10 is a heatwave). I thought I would have been more productive today, but somehow it’s already 8 pm and I have no idea where the day went—how does that happen?!
