Wow, it’s been just over two weeks since I last published a good ol’ fashioned, single outfit blog post! I’ve really been slacking with my blogging game lately, but I’m hoping to turn it around for the second half of this month—starting with this edgy neutral outfit!

I love how this look came together, even though it’s a little out of my comfort zone. I haven’t styled this black and beige floral jumpsuit in a real blog post yet, but I’ve worn it several times in my Weekly Recap posts and absolutely love it! It’s so easy and comfy to throw on and go, which seems to be the type of outfit I’ve been gravitating towards lately. But since it’s back to being too chilly for bare shoulders (Denver weather is always so temperamental), I decided to throw my new black denim jacket on top. I talked about this in last weekend’s Weekly Recap, but I really don’t know what I did before buying this jacket from my Nordstrom Trunk Club box last month. It has become such a staple!
The only downside to this jumpsuit is the length. I do wish it was full-length instead of cropped because I think it would make it *slightly* more flattering on me. Plus, sometimes I struggle with what shoes to pair with this jumpsuit! It seems too cropped to work with booties, right?

Anyway, what really pulls this outfit together and gives it that extra flare are the accessories. Sungait, a sunglasses seller on Amazon, reached out to me a few weeks ago to send me a pair of one of their sunglasses. I’ve been seeing these edgy, roundish gold frame sunglasses everywhere lately, so I instantly knew I wanted to try them out! What do you think of them?! Too Ozzy Osborne-esque? I almost feel like I’m not cool enough to pull them off.
Either way, they really bring this outfit together. I am also extremely impressed with the quality of these sunglasses, especially for the price, because they arrived in pristine condition in very nice packaging, which included a sunglasses bag, a cleaning cloth, and a tiny screwdriver to fix the screws, should they come loose. My only complaint is that the metal frames pinch my head a bit, and I’m certain these shades would give me a headache if I wore them for too long… which is a bummer, but not an uncommon problem for me (I think I just have a big head!). I’m sure that if I purchased a pair that didn’t have metal arms, I wouldn’t get a headache… That has typically been my experience with sunglasses in the past, so keep that in mind if you decide to buy a pair!
Sungait has lots of super cute styles that you can check out here, or you can buy my exact pair of sunnies here. You can also use my discount code “gracefulrags” for 30% off your Sungait purchase! Even though these sunglasses were sent to me for free, these opinions are 100% my own, and I really am that impressed with the quality.

The other accessory that helps make this outfit is the bag. I purchased this clutch/crossbody ages ago from Francesca’s for only $20. While it does show some wear and tear if you look closely, it continues to be one of my most worn purses, and I absolutely love how the gold elephant matches perfectly with the gold frames of my sunglasses. I felt so cool in this look!! And I will definitely be wearing it again as the weather warms up a bit.

Do you like wearing neutrals for spring? And what do you think of these shades—cool, or not for me? Usually I gravitate towards color for spring, but something about this all-neutral look seemed super cute and ‘fresh’. And the orangish rock in the backdrop turned out to be the perfect complementary color!

Miles of smiles,
Grace
