I’ve recently gotten back into Pinterest (you can follow me here!) after a several year hiatus, and one of my favorite things to pin are inspirational quotes. Revolutionary, I know. But, like basically all things in my life, I like my quotes to have a fashion-related twist, so I wanted to share my favorite style sayings with you today. Which of these quotes is your favorite?! I thought this pretty sundress would be the perfect companion for all of these sayings about elegance and being overdressed, and you may recognize the dress as one of my incredible $1 finds in my thrift shopping haul blog post. I paired the sundress with a pastel pink purse and my favorite white heeled sandals for a light and summery look. My lipstick is actually a pink shade, although it looks more red in these photos. Combined with my retro hairstyle, this look ended up having quite the 50s housewife vibe! Not what I had intended (it was a bad hair day, and this style was the best I could do), but I suppose the retro outfit is pretty as well.
