Halloween in June? You know how much I love costumes, so I couldn’t resist dressing up for a horror-themed party at a local bar on Friday. Thank goodness for the long weekend, though, because I needed it after such a jam-packed week!

Per usual in Colorado, the weather was all over the place this week—from sunny and summer-like on Monday to baseball-sized hail and a tornado warning on Thursday… Thankfully I (and my car) managed to avoid most of the severe weather! And the sun kindly returned for a beautiful and very busy weekend.

The Colours of Your Soul
It was Jane’s turn this month to choose our Thrifty Six style prompt, and she decided on “the colours of your soul.” Sometimes it requires a bit of brainstorming for me to come up with these themed outfits, but today’s was obvious—I knew I had to style this colorful, geometric-printed dress!
